Domain-Specific Modelling Tools beyond Metamodels and Transformations
DropsBox (Dresden Open Software Toolbox) is a software modelling toolbox consisting of a set of open source modelling tools developed by the Software Technology Group at TU Dresden and DevBoost. DropsBox is built on top of the Eclipse Platform and the Eclipse Modelling Framework. It can be customised by tool developers to create domain-specific DropsBox instances. Those instances can be used by domain experts to perform modelling, composition, refactoring, documentation, validation, simulation, and other development activities in the context of their domain.
